Corporate days
Clay pigeon shooting is one of the fastest growing forms of corporate hospitality and provides an excellent way to entertain clients; to promote your business and team build your staff in a way that they have never experienced before ,the day can be tailor made to suit your company's needs and if your guests are complete novices we will ensure that every one is successful and has an enjoyable experience which in turn will enhance your reputation. After we can offer a meal in The Green Man or a BBQ on our patio or maybe in our lodge in the woods at the shooting ground.

On the 17th February 2011 we were privileged to play host to West Ham United Football Club. We supplied them with a Team Building Day which appears to have had great results for the club since - their first game on the Monday after their visit they thumped 5 goals past Burnley in the FA cup and last Sunday they beat high flyers Liverpool 3-1 in the premiership to ease their relegation problems .
They arrived at the Green Man in the morning where they were welcomed with breakfast of bacon rolls and coffee. Names were drawn out of the hat for the teams (ten teams of 4) followed by a shoot safety talk and introduction to their tutors. Earplugs, safety glasses and caps were supplied then it was off to the woods for some team building shooting at clay targets simulating game birds and rabbits .The teams shot at 50 targets from 5 different stands all simulating game. The majority of them had never shot before but with expert tuition from local gamekeepers and scorers they all managed to hit something. Each team member had their own score card, 4 in each team to give the team totals. We gave prizes for the highest team score, the highest individual score and also a prize for the lowest scoring team. It was back to the pub for a light lunch then off go karting for the afternoon . After a few hours on the endurance course it was back to the Green Man to finish the day with one of our delicious steak sizzlers.
The winning Shooting Team scored 89: Matt Upson, Winston Reid, Robert Green and Big Bob and was Tutored by Gavin Potter
The Highest Gun Score was Robert Green With 33
They were an exceptional team of guns and a pleasure to have shooting at Six Mile Bottom and we look forward to seeing them again in the future.
