I am hoping that this new sport will appeal to people who want to maintain their shooting skills outside the traditional game bird shooting season, between october and the end of january.
It would also appeal to people who prefer to shoot targets rather than birds.
The ‘birds’ are clay targets which will be set off to simulate the way that different species of bird, such as pheasant, partridge and woodcock, take flight.
This shoot differs from clay pigeon shooting as there are several clay traps firing at the same time and the shooters are unaware of where the ‘birds’ are coming from.
It is an exciting way to experience the countryside in all its glory whilst enjoying the company of friends/family or potential or existing clients.
