What to Expect
Your day begins with a warm welcome at our lodge, where guests can enjoy freshly prepared bacon rolls along with tea and coffee before the event gets underway.
Following a comprehensive safety briefing and introduction to our experienced shooting instructors, teams head out onto the shooting ground to enjoy a series of professionally supervised clay shooting stands. Every participant receives expert tuition, making the day enjoyable for complete beginners as well as experienced shots.
Throughout the event, teams rotate around the stands, with refreshments served midway through the morning before returning to complete the course.
After the shooting, everyone gathers back at the lodge for drinks, prize presentations and a relaxed afternoon together.
Typical Event Schedule
9:00am – Arrival with bacon rolls, tea and coffee
9:30am – Safety briefing and introduction to instructors
9:45am – Clay shooting begins
- Teams of five
- Five shooting stands
- Ten clays per stand
- Professional instructor with every group
- Suitable for all abilities
Mid-morning – Refreshments at the lodge before rotating to the remaining stands
1:30pm – Drinks and trophy presentations
2:00pm – Cold buffet lunch with dessert
Afternoon drinks, speeches, raffles or team activities can follow before the day concludes.
4:30pm – Coffee and departure
